This cocktail recipe is a twist on a classic Gin & Tonic, it's uncomplicated and fresh and absolutely perfect for enjoying al fresco to celebrate the arrival of spring. It's excellent for gatherings with friends as it's elegant and simple to make.
- 50ml Gin
- 25ml Pisco
- 15ml Lemon Juice
- Tonic Water
- Mint Leaves
- Lemon to garnish
Serve your cocktail in a large Gin & Tonic or cocktail glass then add ice cubes to taste. Pour over the gin followed by a measure of Pisco and the lemon juice.
Put 3-4 mint leaves between your hands and clap to release the oils then drop into the glass. Top with tonic water, stir and garnish with a lemon wheel.
This is a delicious cocktail for gin lovers but it's quite strong so halve the alcohol measures if you are concerned about it going to your head too fast!
